net glitch?

(not sure if this is the right place )

for some reason i cannot perform the net glitch
what i do is that i sneak with the net, and push the circle pad a millimeter forward, as usual.
then as i walk into the chosen object, i stop moving forward.
is this supposed to happen? do i need to be patient enough and need to continue walking forward for a longer period of time?

you need to start next to the wall you want to go through and move the pad towards it at the smallest amount to just start walking while your net is loaded... once you do start moving, you can't stop or go any faster as it will cancel the glitch... it is really hard to do, I've literally done it once and got on the train tracks lol!
