My living room used to be my base room downstairs, but I recently moved it to the upstairs room cause I didn't like how it looked with all the entrances to the other rooms in the way. The upstairs room is far larger than the one downstairs so I'm having trouble thinking of what I should do with this chunk of empty space!

I don't wanna turn it into a kitchen area cause I already have a full blown kitchen in one of the other rooms. I'm thinking a cafe maybe? I'm iffy on the idea cause I feel like a cafe is a much more outdoorsy vibe and the atmosphere I'm going for with this room is more homey. Let me know your thoughts!

*Also, what did you guys make your base room downstairs (the very first room you start out with)? It's hard to figure out what I want to do with it now with all the doors/entrances in the way! lol

What about putting some mats down and adding an exercise ball, kettlebell (I think you get that recipe from jocks), and other exercise equipment? Not a hardcore gym, but what you'd see in a lot of homes with smaller equipment for stretching or maybe a place to do yoga.

Perhaps a little home office area maybe? Chair and desk, desktop computer? Or I've seen some people do pet areas with the cat tower and pet beds, with little rugs on the floor, that can look cute too!
