Hey everyone, the last few bugs i need to complete my encyclopedia are the bagworm, fly, firefly, house centipede, and the giant petaltail. I've tried traveling to my second game file where I've TT'd to the correct season and time of day for the bagworm and petaltail, but then spent hours trying to find them to no avail. The gate was closed and everything :(

Is it possible to purchase the bug from someones Re-Tail and have it count towards your encyclopedia?

Thanks! Was i doing something wrong in the second town file? i spent 3 hours looking for a bagworm and nothing...

Edit: Does anyone have any flies in there town i can come catch?

Oh shoot, I completely glanced over that part! I don't believe that you can catch Bagworms in another person's town. I know you said that you left your gates closed, but that doesn't matter. You can't find certain bugs while WiFi-ing at all. I know they include the Bee, Scorpion, and Tarantula, but I guess the Bagworm is included as well.

Here and here (scroll down to number 10) are the sources I found. I don't have any experience with this myself, so maybe someone else can let you know if they've found a Bagworm in another persons' town.

Thanks for the help! I researched it and I got a lot of mixed messages about bagworms :( I guess I'll keep trying and hope I can.
