So I have been trying to plot reset Chevre last night and today and she wont even come near it!
I know its possible because Peanut used to live there is there any tips how to get her there?

It just takes a lot of patience. I'm sure she'll get there eventually! If she keeps landing in a certain area, then go back to the day you invited her in, and place a PWP in the place she keeps landing in. Good luck! c:

Would not recommend this^

It's already too late for you to go back since you already have her plot in your town, so going back won't do anything except place her permanently. Plus you'd have to start up with your mayor to even do a Pwp request so you would have screwed yourself over.
I recommend patience, if she keeps placing herself in an area you don't want over and over, try and "reset" those places by turning off the whole system and starting it over instead of just exiting the game and starting again.

That's what I did for Cousteau. He wouldn't move into the 3x3 spot next to Elvis, but after someone recommended that to me, I turned off the system, turned it back on again and he started plotting closer and closer to where I wanted him and now he's where he should be. Farthest right house under the town tree btw :)

Oh, I didn't mean that. It's a bit complex on how it works, but I've done it before. I suppose it would only work if Chevre's plot appeared the day after you invited Chevre in (because for me the plot usually showed up the next day), because if you go back, the game still thinks it's the same day. As the user above me said, as long as you check with a new character and do not load up an existing file, you can see if the plot appeared. If it didn't, then you're free to load up your mayor and place a PWP. Then you can continue plot resetting.

I can confirm that new villagers have no problem moving into a spot where an old villager left; Fauna moved in 1 space out of line where Moe used to be.

So yea, patience is key. ^^
