Need Help on black screen problem :(

Hi guys! So yesterday my 3ds xl accidentally fell out of my bag with acnl card game inserted. Today when i play, i encountered this annoying problem in which when i talk to npc or in mini games or even in my own house try to arranging things, sometimes the screen goes black for few seconds repetitively like 3 or 4 times in a row. Is it has to do with something called black screen of death? And what should i do? Please help :'(

it may be because your cart/ds is freaking out
i had a problem where i was playing and suddenly pixels were all over the place, screen flickering, strange colours. i saved and quit, left it alone for a while, turned it back on and it was ok. havnt done that since.

I tried save and quit, and also took out the game card and insert it back on. Both didn't work out :/

Maybe the cart has some internal damage? Maybe you could try another game and see if the problem happens with that, too.

Also, when it fell on the floor was it somewhere it could have been wet?

Floor is completely dry and other game runs well. So i guess you're right, the problem is in the gamecart. Can i retrieve my save file if i buy another physical copy?

If you buy a new copy, no data will be there. When you buy a new one, you'll have to re-make the town/start fresh.

Is it possible it is the DS? Or are you sure its the game itself? I have encountered a similar problem and sent it to Nintendo. Ahh im so sorry I honestly recommend calling them though.

If you buy a digital copy, there is a save-file transfer tool in the eShop that can port your cartridge town to the digital version. You'll just have to hope that the data itself is not too damaged to transfer. You can't move your town to another cartridge, and you can't move it back to your original cartridge from the digital version.
