Need help clearing my void!

Looking for a full town to visit so I don't end up giving someone a random villager while trading / visiting other players!

I'm a little skeptical of this working tbh because I've heard it can be pretty hit-or-miss? :c but I'd rather give it a shot anyway!

Does anyone know if visiting more than one full town helps? Because I'd be okay with visiting more than one if it does!
