Need for a new rule

It seems a certain member has added a script into their signature which forces sound to play. Not only does this suck up bandwidth and slow pages down but it is also EXTREMALY annoying. I suggest we make a rule againsed this script.

Honestly this doesn't need to be a rule. I would either turn off my sound while I'm here or just turn off signatures for my eyes.

If it is annoying pm them and ask them to stop :|

Why should I have to do that? What if I'm listening to music and don't want to turn of my music. Honestly sometimes I strongly doubt your IQ is higher that 3.

Also it was in Henhouse's sig but they got rid of it.

Henhouse put a script (or code) in their sig which would start music you couldn't stop. It was very annoying.

Oh, I haven't had the volume on for a couple of days now...thanks for explaining. That does sound like it would take up a lot of space and slow load times.

ok, so with your logic i should be allowed to have porn in my sig, dont like it? turn off signatures or dont look at it, right?

no. if its something of an annoyance it is to be removed.

you cant just pull a "oh well dont listen/look" and expect everything to be right.


i believe this is already a rule, and if it isn't it should be.

Anyways, about that...It's interesting. I don't think doing something like adding music to a sig is pretty good IMO. And, isn't that using HTML at TBT?
