Need Advice RE: Town Layout/Grass Pattern

I've been resetting my new town trying to get CIRCLE grass as I've always had TRIANGLE grass (which I don't mind, just wanted something new) and I reached a map that I'm not sure if it's worth to reset again because it's spacey and good placement of buildings. However, got that darn triangle grass again lol Below is a pic of my map, let me know if you think it's worth it to reset for the sake of the grass, or if this map is too good to let go Thank you!

Omg, that's the river I had for my first town, I'm getting nostalgic just looking at it ;-;

I do like the layout though. Having the town hall & event plaza close to each other makes me happy, and re-tail's nice and close to the dock... I would keep it, but then grass pattern is one of those thing I don't worry about, so if it matters a lot to you it might be worth resetting.

Thank you for your input Quill! Yeah, I think I was just being really picky for the grass since I was craving something different. My previous town was completely opposite of what I was in search of.

What I was looking for checklist: (bold is what I have)

-South facing waterfall
-Beach on the right side of the map
-Town hall & event plaza fairly close to each other
-Retail near the dock
-Spot by a waterfall for my house
-Circle grass
-Peach, apple, or cherry native fruit
-2 separate accessible beaches

Mehh, I guess when I look at it that way, the fruit and grass should be easy to overlook since I was able to get a lot of what I was looking for. Also took me 3 hours of re-setting to get to this map that's why it's really hard to decide if the grass is worth going through the loop again haha -___-

Looking at your checklist I'd say keep it. There will always be one or two things that aren't perfect and like you said grass pattern and fruit aren't a huge deal. In my new town there were three things from my list that I didn't get (blue or brown train station, left-facing beach, plaza next to town hall) but I literally spent a couple days resetting and it was the one that was closest to what I wanted.

Well, looks like the map meets most of the criteria on your checklist xD unless grass shape and native fruit bugs you a lot, keep the map c:

Everyone prefers different stuff on their maps anyways.. Personally I like Retails close to the train station but I know some people prefer it near the docks. South facing waterfall is nice, I was looking for that in my new town too.. c: I just started 2nd town like 4-5 days ago. I ended up with square grass tho I always like circle grass.. then I realized I don't really look at grass anyways so it don't bug me much haha Overall, what you have is is a nice map :3

Honestly, given that list I would definitely keep the layout! I did something similar when I reset for the town I have now, and I compromised on my native fruit (ended up with pears) because I found an ideal layout. You can always plant whatever you want (well, except for perfect fruit I guess)

Thank you all so much! You guys are def helping me with my decision, it's funny because I didn't even realize the grass had diff patterns until I went on these AC forums! I think my strong desire for the circle grass truly is just because I prev had triangle (which I do still like!) just wanted to see something diff. I also can accept the fruit as we all plant diff fruits eventually and it's not the orange which is the only one I was really avoiding haha.

I think I might just keep it haha, it's growing on me thanks to you guys!
