Need advice! Normal villager?

Okay so.. I had Fauna in my town and lost her due to a TT accident a few weeks ago. :c
I have cycled 4(?) villagers out and I was planning on waiting for 16 to move out to get her back.
Obviously, that's going to take a decent chunk of time. Not to mention that I try not to TT much in my main town since 9/10 of my current villagers are dreamies. It's going to be hard only using 1 villager to cycle out.
My question is should I try to finish the 16 villager cycle? Do you have any tips on speeding up the process without losing any other dreamies? Or should I think of another villager to replace Fauna (I'd really prefer not to but, if worst comes to worst..)

In my opinion, it really depends on your patience. If you're willing to wait a long time and be extra careful, then by all means do the 16-cycle. If you aren't, look for a new villager. I love the normal villagers; they're some of my favorites. I'd suggest Skye or Melba.

I'd have more patience if I wasn't starting college in a few days /:
I get easily distracted by games so I'm scared I'll put off work for New Leaf xD
I love the normal villagers, too! I was thinking of adding either Mitzi or Merengue to my town.

Jessica, you CAN continue to TT to initiate a villager to move out... HOWEVER, be sure your pockets are empty & make your rounds as 1x of the residents will Ping & state their Moving intentions. This MAY not be the odd villager- run this routine diligently until the cycle is complete & when Fauna finally visits- ya did it! ^o^

If you're patient and careful, do the cycle.

If not, I'd suggest Maple or Molly. They're super cute normal villagers. Or there's Aurora, she's not the cutest but she's lovely. I kind of like her and her home now she's moved in. Also Lolly and Mitzi, but they're super hard to find or even get. It's really up to personal preference ;_;

The same thing happened to me. I lost Fauna. I have only 7 permanent villagers however. Still, it's too much of a hassle to get her back. And there are plenty of other great normal villagers. I already had Coco, but I plan on replacing Fauna with Skye. Like Blues said, if you have the patience and you're careful, go ahead and try to get her back. Just be careful though.

Oh yeah, they're good, too!

Those are valid concerns... I have no advice, except make yourself a schedule that has time for playing in it.

Thank you! I'll definitely read up on that. I know the cycle is hard work and that's the only reason I'm hesitant :c
