I am in progress of making a forest themed town
I have 2 tent villager houses in my campsite and I'm not sure if I want to keep one or both
which placement do you prefer?
also need advice and ideas for the area around my cafe & mayor Mika's house
any feedback or constructive criticism is welcome!

I think it looks super cute with both of them, but if you want to only go with one, I'd choose the one on the right. Then you'd have more space for anything you wanted to add in place of the removed tent, and it probably wouldn't be as hard to figure something out.
Also, while it's not something you asked about, I might move or remove the bridge by the campsite. I personally just don't like the fact that it's behind and so close to the campsite.

As for your caf?, I would definitely get rid of the bamboo in front of it, since it blocks the view of the building. I assume you're keeping Julian, since he's perfectly aligned with the caf?, but if you're not, you could make a little seating area to the right of the caf?, with the rock and stumps to sit on - or a smaller one, with one stump, where the peach tree is now. On the left, you could either mirror that as another small seating area, or else completely go asymmetrical and have trees on that side.
I would also use more of the brown bamboo stumps, they would look nice with the caf?. If you use fruit, maybe also go with a more warm colored fruit that goes with the caf? better. It might look nice if you mix fruit and cedar trees there.

I really like the way your mayor's house looks so far, and would keep going with the mix of cedar trees, oak/fruit trees, and brown bamboo stumps. I'm not sure if I would leave the blue pansies - on one hand, the contrast is sort of nice, but I also just feel they don't fit.
To fill the area in front of her house, maybe put a small garden with a scarecrow in front, to the right. A well or water pump might also look nice, even though she's right next to the river.

I hope my advice could help a bit, especially seeing as your town is so much less heavily landscaped than mine is. Your town is really nice so far, though.
