I have some trouble making money. It takes me soooo long before I have like 100.000 bells.
how do you all do that? Anybody advice at making money?
i could really use some right now..

Welp! What I do is go to the island after 7/8pm and catch bugs that are on the Palm/coconut trees! They sell for around 8,000 to 9,000 each! Great way to make money ;3

First, tell us how you're currently making your money and then we can offer tips. Because from experience, I know it's possible to make 100,000 bells in like 15 minutes at night on the island catching beetles. Especially once you get rid of the majority of the trees so useless bugs and butterflies stop spawning.

All the bugs which are on the coconut trees/palm trees.

make sure all the trees/flowers/bushes in the middle are gone and then catch the ones who sit on the palm trees on the beach

Golden stags, Horned atlases, Horned elephants, etc. Basically all the ones that spawn on the palm trees, not the fruit trees. Some people (myself included) cut the fruit trees down because the bugs they spawn are mostly low value, with the rare high value one.

Also breed hybrids and sell those too I can give you carnations to start breeding.

Oh then we are at the same time zone haha! I already catched 2 sharks. But it turns out i am really bad at catching the bugs at the palm trees. They just fly away before i can catch them -.-

Like most people say beetles and bugs on tress are the way to go.

Personally I've chopped away everything on my island except 3-6 trees, then at 7pm or later I go there and gather bugs off the trees and then sell them the next day, it's a good way to make bells

The best way to get them is when your bug net is out hold down A and move to them slowly, then release A when you're facing them and close to them

the fastest and easiest way is to sell your tbt bells. i've paid off my house completely by doing that just once. (shoutout to hype, thanks again!)

also, what the others said... bug catching on the island, turnips, selling things on the forum.
