I could have gotten Roses if I restarted oof.

I think this might be accurate. My month is July (Lily), a friend of mine is January and they got Pansies and my Nephew got Mums, his is in December.

I hope it's seasonal in the stores because I would absolutely love some hyacinths and cosmos for my island! My mums were a gift and I had to buy my roses and lilies from people on the forum :<

Does anyone know what dates the seasons change? I might be willing to TT and check, it doesn't seem like TTing far ahead does much damage to the town itself.

Summer starts on June 20th I believe.

Right? That would just be way too coincidental if it wasn't seasonal.
I second June 20th for Summer in the North Hemisphere. If you do TT, I would love to hear what you find out!

Windflowers are my native. Pansies, windflowers, tulips, and hyacinths sell at my shop.

My native is windflower and I only get pansies and tulips in my store. For the record I put my birthday month in as February.

Mines is like this too, my birthday is also set in February.

Hyacinths is another I be seeing a lot, I usually be finding them on those mystery islands.

So, this is what I found!

It is indeed seasonal - but two of my seeds did not change. My shop always sold my native flower, and the sister flower I would find on islands (Tulips, in my case.)

I did not stay in the seasons long enough to see the other flower sold, but in the summer nooks started selling Lilies in my shop, and in the fall they started selling cosmos. I am sure they rotate that one every few days since most people seem to be able to buy 4 different flowers!

Isabelle also changed the flower in the town hall for each season, I am about to check what I get in winter now!

I tend to find Tulips more than Lilies on island tours. A streamer I watch gets Hyancith somewhat often more than his native flower of Roses. Both Tulips and Hyancith are spring flowers, so wonder if they’ll also change with the seasons.

I only have enough points for two tickets, but I will see if I can give this a shot!
I want to guess that it won't change this, just because I always had Tulips and Windflowers in my shop... those two have not changed once.

I went to 3 islands and only got my native flower, lol.
So, I am currently unsure on this! That would be nice for it to change though, I'm sick of Tulips!

Another thing I have noticed, but may just be by chance,
I seem to get hybrids easier for my native flower.

Mine is roses. I finally got my first purple rose yesterday. Now I have orange, black, pink, purple, white, red and yellow roses.

I already have almost every type of flower in it's basic colors (I have a the flowers but not every color). Other hybrids I have: orange pansies and orange cosmos.

Yup, your native flowers are based on your birthday, while shop flowers are seasonal.

I got mums as my native flower and I've seen hyacinths/pansies/windflowers in the store before. Quite happy with my native flower since hybrid mums are one of the prettiest, especially purple and pink!

My native is tulips - birthday month is December. In my store I've only ever seen mums, Lillies, tulips and cosmos. I wanted all the flower species (if they are linked to seasons I don't wanna wait aha) so I visited others and bought from their stores ^^
