Narrow clock

What is it? Where does it come from? I've seen people selling/buying it with no word on where they got it from, which leads me to think it was obtained by hacking. I've also seen people talking about how it looks like the clock from Shampoodle.

I just want to know what on earth it is and how people are able to get it.

I'm curious about this myself. Yeah, I've seen a picture of it not too long ago, pretty much is the clock from Shampoodle but I've no idea how to obtain it without someone's assistance.

Edit: Did a reverse image search on it. Found out it is a DLC item, part of the campus set. Back in February, looks like you could get it from the post office.

The narrow clock (and the pen-case chair) appear to be the newest additions to the campus set. As Aniko said, it was distributed as Japanese DLC.
