NaNoWriMo

It's that time of year again. Is anyone doing NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) this year? Although it's not officially part of NaNoWriMo, I did start writing a novel today. It's a story I've been planning for about 2 years, so I know the characters/plot/backstory/world pretty well.

I'm not doing it.

Hmmm, how long do the novels have to be?

50-80,000 words typically. It's not that hard to reach that length. Publishers don't really like anything above that.

I've started writing one. Hopefully I can actually stick with it this time, and not trash it due to lack on inspiration/ideas like last time I tried writing a novel. Luckily, I planned everything out ahead of time, so I won't be that short of ideas.

Started one years ago. I got through about 100 pages, then stopped. Figured it wouldn't work out and left it alone forevermore.
