Some people have their names written in red, blue, orange, etc. Mine is this dark-reddish-brown color. I am sure it is the based on the amount of posts you have, but.... when will mine change and at how many posts does the color change...?????????? :gyroidconfused:

I think mine changed to purple after 825 posts, but im not 100% sure about that.

In my opinion it takes to long. And I don't see how some people have like 5k-7k posts... IT'S CRAZY

I'm on another forum, And the max poster is 75k posts, But she spends her life on it, I have like 17k on that forum.

Yeah, I think Stormcommander has like 18k posts, but... I can see why HE does. I'm just wondering how regular users who sign up on here get a bunch of posts.....
It seems like I've had this reddish name forever.

Yeah, there are some people on here that signed up after I did and have a lot more posts than I do. (I signed up in November.)

And how do they do it without spamming? Isn't there a life outside bell tree? Don't they have school, work, friends, etc...?

Well the Bell tree has been here 2005, and most people who have more than 1000 posts have been here for years, When I first joined I usually posted 100 times a day.

It's not the fact that people spend hours here on The Bell Tree. It's because some people find easy conversations to get themselves involved in, on my first day, I found a lot of threads that I replied to and pretty much, the conversation just went on from there. Before I knew it, I had around two hundred posts around the first three days I had joined The Bell Tree.

It's easy to converse with people here and you'll find something to talk about, whether it be in this section or in the Animal Crossing: City Folk board.

Also, if you haven't already noticed, the amount of spam has increased a ton over the holidays. That's how some people have a ton of posts. It's the quality of the posts that should really count =P

Exactly. I don't spend my life on this board nor do I spam but I can easily get into conversations with people and I like to give my opinion on things. After all, isn't that what a forum is for?

Anyway, go hunt through all the old threads in the retired boards, apparently there's a thread in there somewhere that explains when you get a new name colour.

Yes, but that thread sank far away.

And, of course, there's the obvious spammers.
(Yes, we know who you are)

And I make tons of posts but they're in Brewster's, so they don't add to my count.
