I would like to know more about going on mystery island tours and the purpose they serve in the game. This feature kind of reminds me of the Dream Suite in NL, even though I haven't been on a tour yet. What can you do on an island? Does the island have non-native fruit etc? Are all of them basically the same? Can you get more islands to visit? Any information or details you guys can give would be appreciated:)

They were just a fun way to get away from your island, gather resources, and if lucky, find a rare island with bells or tarantulas, and time to time meet a new (or familar) face to invite to town.

Now they are being abused as people visit thousands to get 1 specific villager in.

Mystery island tour serve as a way to mine resources and to find villagers (depend on multiple situations whether they appear or not). You can find one other non-native fruits and flowers on mystery island. The rest you have to get online (only fruits) as flowers rotate throughout the year.

There are basic mystery island and special mystery island. On basic mystery island, it will be like your island with coconut so nothing special. However special island contain non-native fruits, hybrid flowers (native and non-native), money rock island, tarantula island, trash island, bamboo island, and mystery island also contain rare fish spawn (like catching coelacanth without rain or catching fishes out of season). All mystery island are much much smaller than your island.

You do the same on mystery island as you do on your own. Cut down tree for resources, mine nuggets (more than your island) and also every island contain one tree with furniture (if there is non-fruit tree) and one wasp. Getting nuggets is important to finish Nook Cranny (only way to continue the story) as you need 30 iron nuggets.

So if I find a villager I want on a mystery island tour, how would I get the villager to come/move into my campsite?
