Ok, so I was just wondering if this happens to everyone? It's not an issue or anything, just a curiosity. When you're talking to your villagers, and you've delivered something from one to the other, and they give you the option to guess what the present is, it's ALWAYS clothes! Since playing this game since 2013, it has been clothes every single time! Is it like that for everyone? Or is it always food, or furniture etc in other peoples towns maybe?
My villagers really love their clothes!

I've had it be furniture as well... but I've only had the chance to guess a few times. I think I've probably had it be clothes and furniture equally, myself.

Mine is more split down the middle, sometimes clothes, other times furniture. There's definitely a lot in each category so I'm not surprised that you get clothes most of the time lol. I wish I could get get more clothes though, since I'm still missing most. >.< I tend to get the guessing games wrong half the time though, I always end up thinking "today's the day it's gonna be this!" and I end up being totally incorrect. xD
Back when I first started I almost always hoped for fruit however, because I wasn't sure if I'd ever get all of them haha. I think I did get some once or twice at least.

95% of the time it's clothes. It's only furniture or wallpaper once in a while.

mines been pretty diverse I havent really had this problem
The best bet is going for clothing, on occasion it can be furniture, for example when they say they were afraid so and so would send it back damaged. Either way I have not experienced missing out on any rare items, so your best bet is still on picking clothing and maybe scoring a good point with them for guessing right.
Well at least it seems pretty common to get clothes most of the time then! I do wish I got something other than clothes sometimes too though.

I thought the same thing! It's always clothes! Then, I was asked again and noticed the order of options (furniture, clothes, etc) changed, but I still guessed clothes and got it wrong. It was furniture!!! Haha
I think it's kinda cute how the villagers will buy clothes for each other or borrow clothes from each other. But yes i almost always get it right when i guess clothing. I have only seen flooring once and then an orange once. A ton of my villagers end up twinning at one point or another (had 5 of 10 of my villagers wearing the sharp shirt)

Yes ?t?s almost always clothes in my town too, rarely it`s a carpet or wallpaper.

Most of the time it's clothing. Furniture comes in 2nd. Think I've had fruit one time.

yeah getting clothing from my villagers is really common for me as well in my town
if I'm lucky I get furniture but normally it's something terrible I don't want..well at least it helps fill
my catalog..so there's an upside

Few days ago Julian asked me to deliver a package to Stitches.. Something he borrowed from Stitches I think. And Stitches asked me to guess what it was.. He said the thing smelt like Julian's cologne. I said clothes but it was actually a wallpaper. Wallpaper that smells like Julian's cologne apparently. Lol
