My Villagers Have Terrible Style

So Tammy put on a shirt one of those shirts from Ables from Anytown or whatever, and then so did Peanut, and now half of my town has those ugly shirts on now. I have sent them all shirts in the mail, but none of them have changed.
Should I complain to Isabelle? Doesnt that revert them to their original clothes? Or what should I do? I'm so tired of them wearing those shirts ):

When you complain to Isabelle they put on a plain white shirt with either blue or red lining. Also, villagers can't wear long sleeve shirts so don't bother sending them those (to my knowledge.) If you report them they change into the plain shirt right away, then usually change to something else the next day. I report my villagers all the time if I don't like what they wear lol. No biggie

You might want to turn those shirts into hats, dresses or umbrellas. I'm not good at designing, so I just make simple patterns with stripes, dots, hearts and stars. But at least I don't have to look at those ugly shirts anymore.

Yes!!! I suffered long enough with the ducky problem in my first town before I knew about changing them into umbrellas. Thankfully my neighbours in my second town have pretty good fashion sense and have been sending each other cute clothes too.

Yeah, that's why I replaced the shirts at Able Sisters with simple striped ones. Now Diana is wearing a white/pink one and it looks pretty good on her.

Everyone in my town has started to wear beaded tanks after Lucky got one as a gift from someone else... and now all the boys and girls are wearing them, it's cute but like, Lucky is a boy.

Oh great idea! I didnt even think of that! I reported Peanut to Isabelle yesterday, and she changed, along with all the other villagers that were wearing them, but then she was talking to Tucker and she changed back into the orange one!!! So infuriating lol.

I get pretty annoyed at this too, especially when one of my villagers are wearing one of their default shirts, and then another copies so they look like twins, even though they don't look the same it's pretty confusing.

Haha, the same happened to me! First Chrissy picked up this ugly grass shirt, then before you knew it the whole town was wearing it. After it felt like forever, Bones finally got a new shirt... The "fiendish shirt." And before you knew it, my entire town was wearing that one instead. My entire village looks like a cult!! Now I'm beginning to wish they had never changed from their grass shirts. I have no luck when it comes to these things
