My villagers are ugly!

Nope! He's the most popular villager in ACNL! You can sell him for LOTS of bells, your dream villagers, landscaping items... you basically have the entire world of ACNL in your hands.

I guess having Marshal really balance out all the uglies in my town :p

One question: Aren't villagers in New Leaf of the same types have the exact same personality and dialogues with the only differences being their look and catch phrase?

yes, and their picture quote/house design. I think the main reason people like him is because he's white-colored and white and pink towns are very popular so he'll match the aesthetic, and he has sloppy furniture which is rare and sought-after.

That suck, cause I don't think this is the case with Wild World villagers. I am not entirely sure cause I wasn't even an adult when I had that game. Really thinking of re-buying it again.

As far as Marshal is concern, he probably the best looking Squirrel from that picture list. http://animalcrossing.wikia.com/wiki/Squirrel

Whitney is still my favorite only because she pretty and because she the first villagers that talked to me in Wild World.
 
Marshal, Peaches, Puddles and Benjamin are all cute! But to each their own. Also, I wouldn't get too hung up on the villagers. You can always replaced them! Especially with the update, it's easier than ever to get villagers you actually want. Keep the town, boot the villagers!
 
puddles is so cute! and yeah i had benjamin and i didnt like but when he moved in but gradually he grew on me. nobody gets perfect villagers when they move in (unless they reset >1000 times or are just incredibly lucky lol) it takes time!

also be grateful you dont have harry in your town

i think it's kinda good to start off with bad villagers. because you might want to time travel a lot for progress & one day you might accidentally make a good 1 move out. however it can be hard for the bad ones to go so that's irritating & maybe some of your favourite villagers will move in a place that you're really unhappy about. that's happened to me but i decided to keep her
 
I wouldn't say they are all ugly, they are all just average other than puddles and marshal. There's no problem.

Do people really think Puddles is good looking? The only frog I find attractive is Henry. Marshal is cute cause he a mean looking "short" squirrel though he remind me a lot of justin bieber. Marshal ask me to trade his world famous "tip toe shirt" for my golden stag beetle which crack me up. Nice try Marshal! Even when he shady it so cute, can't even get mad at him.
 
I hate to break it to you, but a town full of certain villagers won't make it better or worse.

It just for look now which is a shame but I think I will buy Wild World again so my emotional craving will satisfy while I continue building PWP for my New Leaf Town.
 
I hate it when people complain about villagers. Listen, take it from me, I didn't like half of my villagers when I first started. But I got all of the villagers I have now. Sititches is adorable and he's my only original villager. just cheer up, they will either move out or you can use amiibo cards to swap them out.
