My villager dilemma!!!

Okay... so!
I have stitches, and I think he’s absolutely adorable in personality and mannerisms. I really like his interactions and how he always naruto runs through my island

BUT honestly, I find myself not liking him a little bit recently because he just doesn’t fit with my island or villagers. so idk what to do...should I let him go?

my island Is very neutral, calm, and has lots of green and brown/beige in decor. He’s also my only villager that’s super colourful in design. I don’t want to have him move out because of that though...if that makes sense.

i like him a lot as a villager in personality cause he’s just so cute but I also just got some amiibo cards that I’ve been wanting to use and he’s rly the only villager id be willing to let go of...but I FEEL BAD LETTING HIM GO.

should I just let him go to somebody else’s island and allow myself to test the waters with a new villager? cause what if I find somebody that I like even more! ahhh

Wouldn't it be nice if you have Stitches' amiibo?

Hm. You said it yourself that you are willing to let him go. He also doesn't fit your island aesthetically and thematically. So you already showed that you aren't really attached to him.

Villagers share common interests, so you could try and find a Lazy with the same hobby as him which is Play. Look at Bones, Punchy, Anchovy, Joey, Pudge, or Ozzie.

i also let stitches go because his design was too much for my island vibes. he's a cutie pie but i go for more natural/muted looking villagers. maybe keep him around until you get his photo? or just buy his amiibo like i did and then you don't have to worry about never seeing him again lol.

rly though we should be able to have 12 islanders with the amount of space we have. i wanna get new faces on my island all the time but i've found a great set of 10 i am having a hard time parting with...even though i have amiibos hitting my mailbox today lol.

Unless you're willing to maybe make some spot on your island a little more colorful to match him (for example around his house) I'm guessing it will remain a problem...in any case if you find yourself having doubts or just begining to dislike him is ok to try new villagers, you can wait until you're more sure or find other villagers more fitting.
