Well…
I'm probably gonna get a [third] game. I have some names and stuff.
Here's where your opinion comes in. Should my villagers be frogs or bunnies? I dunno how to make a poll.
If you could write anything good about some frogs or bunnies that would help a lot, too.
My frog dreamies include.. Cousteau (in my cycling town), Jeremiah (in my cycling town), Ribbot, Lily
My bunny dreamies include.. Mira (in my main), Genji, Snake, Cole (in my main)
I would have to move villagers from my main town, though.
I just bought a
fourth copy. (It will be used for cycling.)
Here is my experience:
"Animal Crossing: New Leaf" is too time-consuming when it comes to building a town.
I think two towns are good enough. But I went for three because I wanted Fairy-Tale (Applewin), Zen (Progress), and Modern (Temps) represented in some capacity that includes, of course, the designs of the Train Station and Town Hall. I also wanted to get a really good mix of appealing villagers. And I also wanted different native fruit. (I personally love best the look of those Perfect Apples. And I want the next "Animal Crossing" edition to include more options for native fruit.)
No matter how many game copies one has in which there is dedication to building a town, a spare copy is most useful, for personal use, when one approaches it with villager cycling efforts. When starting a new town, "Animal Crossing: New Leaf" gives you five starters belonging to separate Personality categories. You can make note of who they are, and each one's respective category, and then you can use Nos. 6, 7, and 8 to cover the other three Personality categories. (I find the game wants to start a lot of my attempted towns with one Normal. And, boy, I'm ready now to reset my fourth game's town to try to come up with no Normals among the starting five?so that I can maneuver getting the Normal cat Lolly. Yes, I'm referring to starting the days, following that Day #01, with a new human character to manipulate the incoming villagers "Animal Crossing" will offer you after those starting villagers.)
One of the great things about this site is that people are helpful. And one of my personal delights is reading what people state they like to do in approaching playing the game. "Animal Crossing" is highly stimulating, and it encourages creativity (layout of a given town, along with Public Works Projects, is a great example of that).
As for the frogs, I had Prince in "City Folk," the only "Animal Crossing" edition I played
before "New Leaf." I bought my first copy of "Animal Crossing" last August. My original town, my first town, of Applewin has a starting villager with the Normal frog Jambette. If I wanted to pursue getting another frog, I suppose I would go for the Jock Ribbot. (No comment from me on selecting a rabbit.) There's something about his looks that make me think he's be worthwhile. After all, that's the reason why one of my current listed Dreamies is the Smug sheep Pietro. (Oh, if I bought a fifth copy of "Anmal Crossing: New Leaf," I suppose I could title the town
Eccentrics and use it to showcase a cast of villagers known for their
unique looks?be they good
and bad?that are enough to make them stand out for that reason alone.)
I wish you the best with your third copy of "Animal Crossing: New Leaf."
