My (single) pink windflower created an offspring somehow

I didn’t realize this was a thing? yesterday it rained and today there was a freshly sprouted pink windflower next to a single pink windflower

whats weird is that whenever I tried multiplying pink windflowers before (by paring with other pinks), I usually got red or oranges. But this one just seemingly duplicated itself

It should always be an exact duplicate! I remember seeing the info on this somewhere, but I can't remember the source..

Source. :]

It’s definitely on the rarer side but I’ve had it happen a couple times now with regular boosted watering via a friend. The flowers should be exact copies so it can make getting a breeding pair of rare hybrids a little easier. Alternatively can also make getting the weird hybrid basic flowers needed for colours like purple/blue harder as it can be hard to tell whether the offspring is a clone or the product of breeding.
