My save got deleted

What is with 20+ year old adults deleting their sibling's save files recently? This is the 2nd time this has happened. Is 21 the new 12?

How awful, I'm so sorry to hear this. You should try to keep your Switch hidden from now on :/ If only there was an option to put a password on Switches to be able to access your system like on phones.

Yeah I think lockdown has people really bored or something like that and I’ll try and yeah the switch should definitely have a passcode
 
After going to college w/ many young 20-odd year olds trust me 20 is an age w/ mannnny immature folk LOL it was jarring being 21 then and being surrounded by so many childlike youngins LOL. So sadly yes 20 can often result in stupidity like this depending on said person, terribly sorry this has happened and foreshame to this level of childishness.

That really sucks! I have Zucker amiibo and I am willing to work with you free of charge. I don’t TT either so it will be a bit of a process but happy to help, let me know.

Oof sorry to hear that, immature siblings sound infuriating : ( I had a twin sister sorta similar in immaturity back when (she passed last year) but overall I am now just w/ my mom so it helps to just take care of your own switch for sure ;; hope you get all you had back and if you need help getting any DIY etc. i'd be more than happy to help I sometimes scavenge on my alts. for dupes : D

Apologies if someone already brought this up, but have you thought about putting parental controls on your own switch? That way you can set your own passcode :O it's a bit of work, but its better than having the chance of this happening again. Super sorry this happened to you!!!
 
I'm really sorry to hear this happened to you. I always find it hard to wrap my head around events like this, especially with siblings who are adults. Me and my brother fought all the time when we were younger,(under the age of 20) and sometimes they got pretty serious and physical, but there was still a certain line we wouldn't cross. Never would have crossed our mind to delete each others save files...just seems like such a random thing to do. The "my sibling deleted my save file" sure seems to be a common thing happening around here!

Yeah I think siblings just think of things to annoy you the most and they know animal crossing is something I spend a lot of time doing so that’s what he deleted

I didn’t know that, I’ll definitely set it up if it means saving my file
 
That’s a pain, I’m sure people will help you out with flowers and fruit and what not if you have online membership just say the word. And hopefully before you known it you’ll be ahead of where you were. Most important thing is finding a way to avoid it happening again.
 
Reading this thread has me stunned as to why a 21-year old, an adult, was unable to communicate AND crossed over your boundaries by accessing your save files. You should probably talk to them about their behavior but considering their age and that you seem to be used to being infuriated- I can't say they'll listen. Even if they were younger, they should have been able to understand "their stuff" and "your stuff".

Yeah I know it’s just stupid and thank youuuu, once I’ve sorted my membership out and stuff hopefully I’ll be able to get out and catch up with my old save
