Why did Reese give 27,000 bells just for perfect pears? There not native in my town

Non-native fruit is worth way more in your town, even more so if they're perfect fruit and even more again if they're on the board outside Re-Tail.

Perfect fruit not native to your town sell for 3000 each. One stack of 9 perfect fruits sells for 27000 Bells.
