My Lucky Catch!

Wait, that's not my lucky catch...

Oh yes, that's the one! It only took me two tries, which surprised me because it is said to be the rarest fish in the game... if it's not, correct me though. I'd like to know how long it took YOU to catch a Coelacanth (Am i saying it right?). The one is the picture is already in it's tank at the museum!

Woah 2 tries as in it showed up as the second fish you saw? Congrats! It took me 2 hours of searching on a rainy day to catch one.

it's actually fairly easy to catch it if you know the size of its' shadow!! the coelcanth possesses huge shadow, and it's more longer and leaner than the large fish shadow ( it's short and more fatter ), so yeah! still, grats on your catch !!

I just caught one today as it was raining in my town!!
(after a few save's and continues!) and got it on my first try!

Now i have that wonderful feeling of not having to worry about catching it again. XD

congrats! i think my first one took like almost an hour to catch and i still didn't believe it at first- had to rub my eyes. i think i've got six or seven since then.

it's always a hoot when a villager asks you to catch them a coelecanth, or offers to trade their polka dot tee shirt or somesuch for one!

Good job! I caught one after 3 or 4 tries too, you just need to know the shadow size. It was the 2nd last fish I caught (I think). Again, great job!

I fish a lot so I've caught a few of them. Tunas as well and they are supposed to be rare. I guess they will be easier to catch now since in spring it rains a lot.

I don't have too much of a problem with Coelacanths in this game but in City Folk I *NEVER* caught one. I was just as much an addict then as now and never caught it. This makes me want to go back and play just to see if I can get it now....
