It started when I picked up some saplings from someones town, about half of them died because I found out they only grew in the northern part of the map. Then one of their villagers, an ugly pig, moved into my town, and I had the spot reserved for Whitney. Then by accident, when trying to make someone move, one of my favourite wolves moved out. Whitney moved in though, but right in front of the caf? where I just placed my new path. Then, the pig moved out (thank god) and I got Mitzi (yay), but Fang moved out without pinging me, because I couldn't find him.. Fang is my favourite. Oh and Mitzi is in the middle of my path.

EVERYTHING IS GOING BAD ;____; Ugh... what do you guys do when you get bad luck like this? should I give up and restart? I kinda want to move out whitney and mitzi even though they're dreamies, because they're in the way of my paths and all :/ And now I wn't be able to have Fang back for a long time. OH and another thing, Muffy moved out, which i also didn't notice. I lost about 3? dreamies and 2 moved in on a **** location.. end my life.

Anyone tips on how to fix this, and how to get Fang back? I heard there was this rule that you need to make 16 villagers move out before someone that has been in your town before can move in again? Thanks!

Oh gosh ahahaha this sounds almost exactly like what happened to me last year. Yeah, when tons of bad things happen in-game, and you're just so frustrated and you wanna reset, I'd say take a small break from it; that's what I did. When I began playing again, an uggo that was in the absolute worst spot thankfully moved out, so don't give up on your town just yet! And yes, if you cycle out 16 villagers, I believe you can get one back. I'm not too sure how that works though, but I know it's possible to get back lost villagers. It takes a ton of patience and good luck, but it's possible to get rid of your uggos and get back your dreamies, and plot them in good areas. And who knows, maybe in the process you'll fall in love with another villager you never knew about?

Here's an idea.... get over your stupid path and make a new one?

Find new dreamies and embrace your town as it is

That's a lot to happen in just 2 days. I'd suggest slowing down a little and try not to get too overzealous.
When we're on a roll, we can rush into bad predicaments on accident.

Don't reset if you aren't 100% certain you want to. It's going to take Whitney and Mitzi a while to move out, so try something new for the time being. If you like it, then they can stay and you keep your dreamies. If it just doesn't roll with you, then work on something else til they move out and you can fix it up again.

Whatever you do will be great cause you put the effort in. Don't stress, things will work out ~

That's a lot to happen but next time just be more careful. Make sure not to trade with ppl with a void/make them clear it. Plot reset if plot places bother you. Be more careful while tting. All of those things could have been prevented.

And yes, there's the 16 villager rule. But it's a biig pain to go through 16 villagers while trying to keep specific villagers in your town. So imo you should either replace Fang or just throw out everyone and just cycle 16 for all of them.

Depending on how bad things are going, honestly sometimes I just restart. But I would just try to make the best of it. Work around not-so-great house placements or maybe even come up with some new dreamies!

Since I have terrible OCD with where villagers are located in my town. I would honestly restart my town, while getting someone to help me transfer all of my bells and furniture. Plus if I lost any of my ultimate dreamies, I would restart, no questions asked.

But that's just my honest opinion. You could try and find new dreamies and plot reset them when they come in. :) I'm sure there's a way around restarting.
