I preordered it, I feel like it will be worth it.
If you already have a working 3DS XL, it probably isn't worth it since going to the New 3DS XL isn't much of a difference. So only buy it if:
-You have a regular 3DS and want to upgrade to an XL
Or
-Whatever system you have is broken/wearing out

I would buy it if you have ths spare money and really want to upgrade to a New 3DS XL. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother.

I'd say get it if I were you. There probably won't be another chance like this anytime soon, so if I was in your position and had the spare money for it I'd go for it.
