My game won't stop loading

My acnl game won't stop loading, like when you start acnl up, it's black with a little train animation in the corner that bobbles for a bit, it's been doing that for an hour or so,when I press home and try to close acnl it's "closing suspended software" for ages too.

What do I do guys I'm worried I'll loose my town!!

Is your ACNL game a digital or physical copy?

FWIW, you may want to try loading/saving the game with your DS's wireless turned off.
