My first ACNL halloween c:

Since I got my 3ds and acnl in Dec last year, I didn't experience any of this before. It was pretty fun and funny
But it was pretty annoying (at least a tad bit irritating but not that serious) having everyone chase me down for candy every time I passed by lol

Like I had to do everything in my power to avoid them so I could find Jack >_<
These villagers were savage for candy lmao

I ended up rushing the experience of it all since I didn't have much time to play. I had to get my daughter out of her costume and into bed lol. All in all, halloween is definitely a favorite time of year in the animal crossing world for me!

Halloween in AC is always cool, although Thanksgiving/ Harvest Festival is probably my favorite event (which you have yet to experience, I think).

It's pretty cool, Halloween, I hope you enjoy it to it's fullest! I remember my first Halloween I lost lots of items because I didn't realise the villagers were actually gonna steal my items.

This was my first Halloween too! Finding Jack was such a hassle, especially if you're trying to find every single one of the items...

I didn't need much of the items, but I was definitely irritated that he kept disappearing, all my villagers were so close to each other, they were all ganging up on me lol

This was my 2nd Halloween in AC:NL. It was funny to see my villagers in costumes, but I also felt bad scaring my babies and it was so annoying how they stalked me for candy every 5 seconds. Lol.

4th year playing and just collected the lollipops, pumpkin heads and Jack N Boxes.
The 1st year you get a complete set from Jack. The following years he just gives random Creepy items.
The 2nd year I received a lot of wall paper and no full set so I stopped.

At the end of the night I gave the villagers candy. They were working very hard for Jack all night and happy to finally get some candy.

yesss the stalking ugh lol when I need them I can't find them ANYWHERE, all of the sudden candy is in the mix, and they are EVERYWHERE!

since I don't have any use for the items in either of my towns, I just played for the fun of it for a while. I enjoyed it! Jack just kept giving me spooky items I had already bought lol

It was my first Halloween to! I started last June. I Time Traveled because I went trick or treating lat night so I am ablur to celebrate my first acnl halloween!

I enjoyed the event, but did not buy enough candy. I ended up having to give all my lollipops except one to the villagers, as I didn't want them to steal my stuff. I hope I have better luck next year.

Glad you enjoyed it. As much as I love Halloween irl, I don't really like the event on ACNL. I've been playing since the GCN days, so I've got over 10 years on the Halloween event. I just wish they wouldn't hunt you down for candy. It's annoying trying to run away from them or avoid them. e_e

It was my first halloween too and I was lazy all month and only collected one mask!!! I ended up trading some candy for masks from Jack and later on ended up with 3 pieces of the creepy set. That was fine with me.

I was actually pretty scared... the music is scary. I had to mute my volume. And the villagers' costumes. And the way they kind of chase you.

I didn't really want any of the furniture items, so I only played for an hour or so. Definitely not because I was scared of the music and the villagers' costumes. Nope.
