Now I'm using the crappy laptop I had a year ago. It might be a while before I can get on again, I don't know, the guy said three to five days, and we dropped it off on Monday. So it's been about two days, i don't know. This computer is annoying the crap out of me so I won't be using it a lot. Hopefully my computer will be up and running soon. But I'm actually thinking of trading it in for a windows. I mean really, my mac has been causing me so much trouble lately... and it's annoying the heck out of me so I don't know what to do. Depends on what my parents say. Opinions on what I should do?

i say windows because iv been using it and no problems but i really want a mak because i herd there some of the best comps and laptops!

Funny thing is, that same thing happened to me last Monday. I already got my laptop back 2 days ago. It was a hardware problem, but I understand how you feel. It's incredibly boring without your computer.

The thing that's been happening though is that it's overheating. The iMacs don't have a built-in fan (or at least mine didn't) and the top would get really hot, so eventually, it would freeze. Or if I played iTunes it would freeze.

They sell cooling units for laptops, which you plug into USB ports. Thats what I have. It greatly reduces the overheating.

But I have a desktop. So the laptop fan won't work.
