My black roses wilted wierd

I had them all in three 3x3 squares in order to wilt to become golden roses, and only about four-five roses wilted in each pack. Is this normal? It did rain a little bit but wouldn't that water all of them? I'm so confused

Wish I could help but all I know is that rain does NOT water flowers.

In my experience, when I first started my town, I didn't have the Beautiful town ordinance. So when I didn't water my flowers, some of them wilted.... but only SOME not all of them.

Rain DOES water flowers so something must be wrong with your game, unless you are talking about breeding, in that case rain water affects that.

Like Audrey Marie said, just because you plant x many flowers at the same time, doesn't mean the flowers will all wilt at the same time. Flowers are just unique with wilting and I guess it is random. I have a ton of red roses that I let wilt and water only when they are wilted and not all of them are wilted every day, only like a handful.

all flowers wilt on their own, not at once. said above, just wait a bit more.

i’m not really sure about rain affecting wilting....
