I haven't been playing recently, since I got lazy, and now (karma) my cute little lazy deer is in boxes... My sister agreed to hold him for me, but I'm not sure if I want to cycle 16 villagers out for him, or just find another dreamie... Any advice??

My advice is if he truly is your dreamy then you should be willing to do pretty much anything to get him back. If you're not willing then I would take that as he's not really a dreamy of yours and you should find someone to replace him.

You have a lot of popular villagers... If you're willing to cycle them out just to get Beau back, then it's your choice. Otherwise, choose another dreamy! Erik is another lazy deer and he's really cute and I personally like him better than Beau. :3

I lost Chrissy(an original), and someone's holding Olivia for me.
Got Annalise and going to drop Vladimir(another original), so that only leaves me 2 slots for cycling.

ACTUALLY that is untrue, i had maple in boxes once and just by some miracle of my 3Ds clock it made it turn back a day and she wasnt in boxes, same with freya just recently somehow when the dates got all whack because of having the game out of the ds for awhile she wasnt in boxes anymore. I cried i was that happy but somehow there IS. A way i dont know for sure how it just happens rarely for me

Is this confirmed? I'd like to hear this from more sources. This would save a hell of a lot of heartbreak.
I voted cycle; but only if you're like me. If you're like me with 3000000000 dreamies and 3 cartridges to house them all, cycle your damn ass off. But if you have more dreamies in the lazy category, just maybe try someone else.
Personally I wouldn't give Beau up if my life depended on it. He's the best lazy. uvu

New one, you may loose a diff dreamie in the process by cycling 
I lost Carmen when I moved back to the last date I played. It doesn't always help to do that.
