So I've posted not too long ago about how I want Camofrog out. I don't hate him, but he's in the way. While doing the time traveling method, I've learned a few things that I will share.
-Villagers will only say somebody is moving if they are outside. After 11 a.m., all villager types will be awake.
-Only five villagers will be outside after 11 a.m. (I have 10 villagers, so the number may vary with less.)
-Villagers inside their homes or other places besides the main village will never be rumored to leave.
-I've heard this somewhere, but the villager who moved in last will never ask to leave unless someone else moves.
-Move outs are random, I believe
The way I time travel with my method will not put you far in time. If you time travel for over a week, nobody will ping, because they'll be programmed to say that it's been a while since they have seen you. You'll have to talk to everyone outside and wait again before someone pings.
Before time traveling, MAKE SURE SOMEONE PINGS TO MOVE THAT DAY. If you want that villager to stay, say so. Now you know nobody will move out during time traveling. Time travel six days into the future. Today is April 13th, so I time travel to April 19th. Every six days will NOT guarantee a villager to say someone's leaving, but for most of the time, it works. Find the villager who wants to leave. Sometimes they'll ping you right away. Other times another villager will ping about something else. If the villager won't ping to move, save and quit and reenter the game. They'll probably ping you this time. Tell the villager to stay if you want them to. Then save and quit. Go back to present day. (April 19th back to April 13th.) Then save and quit again, and time travel six days. Repeat this process until the villager you want leaves. The best part is you won't go far in time. You'll receive mail, grass will grow, flowers and clovers will appear (use beautiful town ordinance), and bulletin board messages will appear. I hope my method can work for you all. Camofrog still lurks, taunting me. lol
