On this very day in history, 18 years ago, June 11th 1999, a truly remarkable point in history came to be: I was born! Well, one of my favorite Star Trek people, DeForest Kelley, also died on that exact same day, but that's beside the point.
I am now legally considered an adult, which means I have to start doing adult stuff, like paying taxes, keeping track of budgets and credit cards, and registering to vote. Sounds fun, right? I suppose you could make it fun, but filling out tax forms in the early months of the year really isn't that exciting, from what I've heard.
But that certainly can't keep me from acting like a kid! I don't mean mentally acting like a child, that would be horrendous. I mean, like, going to the park, playing childhood video games, or maybe just going into the backyard and letting imaginations run free! Who says you have to be all serious and stern when you become an adult? Well, dummies of course! Jk I'm not that mean.
You shouldn't expect me to change in any way in response to a simple increase on a number that represents my "age". I'm simply a day older! I'm still the good ol' xSuperMario64x everybody (well... almost everybody) knows and loves! I still enjoy spending my free time anywhere between hiking in the wild woods and hiding in my room, playing SM64. Just think of me as one of those weird, older Youtube people who does crazy and sometimes maniacal voiceovers of games while they're playing them.`
So what am I doing for my birthday? Nothing special so far. Just sitting at home, with my children Molly and Daisy (don't worry, they're cats lol), watching The Office, and drawing in Flipnote Studio 3D. Gonna play piano later this evening, and maybe even eat some chili cheese fritos, cause fritos are 10/10
Oh, and I figured I might just throw this in there, but here's some stuffs I got for my fabulous 18th!...
Baby Grand Piano
It's a rather small one, smaller than a regular baby grand. But why is my dad buying me a piano for my birthday? Well, because I play piano for a living, silly!
My dad has been trying to buy me an acoustic piano for years and he just happened to find this one for sale for a good price. It plays pretty well, just needs a few adjustments on it. We can't figure out the make of it cause some dummy painted over everything, but we do know it's likely around 80 years old. When we get it all fixed up, I'm gonna start practicing on it, instead of my keyboard. What a relief that will be!
Zelda Edition 3DSXL
I mean the one that came with A Link Between Worlds a really long time ago, prob about 3 1/2 years ago. Found it in a pawn shop yesterday, and even though it has some cratches on it, I couldn't pass it up. It was the one I initially wanted back in Dec 2013, but I ended up getting the pink and white one instead cause my mom couldn't find it. Main reasons why I got this one was 1. it was only $99, 2. because my pink one has a really bad crack in the right hinge and on the side, and it's prob about to break, and 3. like I said, this is the one I've wanted for so long!! But wait, now you have two 3DSXLs! Yeah, I know. it's actually really fun to have two. Also, the system was factory reset, but the eShop data was still on there, and the person who had it before I did bought OOT 3D on the eshop, so I basically got a free copy of OOT 3D with it. 'Tis a joyous day.
A Quesarito and a Doritos Taco
Cause we all know that Taco Bell is like the best place on Earth
Well, I guess it's time to write my will...
"When I die, I would like to be cremated with my oldest child, my bebe N64. Oh, and the SM64 game cartridge, too. I would also like to leave my grand fortune and Super Mario collection to my other, younger children, Molly and Daisy. When I die, I would like to turn into like a cherry tree or somethin', so people can see the pretty blooms in the Spring. And I would like some of my ashes to be put into a ? box with wings and some coins and shot into the air with a cannon. What a great way to leave this world tbh. Flyin' up to coin heaven. Couldn't ask for anything better. ♥" Well of course coin heaven exists! You don't believe me?
Anyways, since my 18th birthday is now here, and I am officially considered an adult, time to go flaunt my adulty-ness to all my younger, still-high-school-ridden friends! Bwa ha ha ha! >
BTW happy b-day to Raskell too! Haha I'm two years older that you are.
