So I was helping my fiancee get parts for a new computer not to long ago. He got it up an running this week.... he is using a flat screen TV as a monitor.... and the computer is better than mine.....

I need to stop wanting to upgrade my PC now... it is just ... gah aside from the TV that he already had only cost him like 700 dollars.... must resist... CURSE YOU TIGER DIRECT AND YOUR DECENT PRICES!

yes. yes I am. I should hook my comp up to a flat screen... I bet it is awesome.

Also my comp has been having some quirk popping up which is normally not a good thing... not necessarily bad, but not good.

I've got mine hooked up to my LCD tv.

it's about 3 years old, come this xmas, and the pc is 2 years old.. but it's still very nice, as the tv works as speakers, and it outputs a good 1680x1050 res. (though I could go for an update or two, if my wallet allowed )

prices are lowering all the time, though you'll have to wait for them to lower.. so it really just depends on how much you're willing to pay/wait </div>

ooo but I like supporting AMD at the moment.... I just haven't liked how Intel has handled themselves in the past. I mean they paid stores to stock their products instead of AMD at one point I think...

still, wouldn't be long before AMD had some kinda breakthrough in the same way, i assume.
