Mushrooms

So it's November in my town and mushrooms are supposed to grow in November, but they aren't in my town. Anyone know why they aren't or how I could fix this? Thanks for all of your help!!!

As far as I know they only grow around patterned-tree-strumps. Could that be the reason?

Hmm. I thought they grew next to any tree in november. I'm not sure why you're not getting any.I have a town that has a big area that's decorated with mushrooms. When November came, I wasn't getting any. Someone said that it was because I had so many on the ground and the game would only allow a certain amount. I removed a bunch and put them in my closet, then I started getting them. Could that be the problem?
