Mushroom Season Is Here!

You have consumed your first set of mushrooms and the results have been... deadly!

It seems most did not survive the first day, so congrats to those who did. Your Fortunate Mushrooms can now be turned into delicious Sautéed Mushrooms!

Despite the deadly outcome of the first day, it seems many of you have been planning a long-term solution by working together, or to put it another way: sacrificing each other! That's good thinking, perhaps you've been snacking on the famously beneficial lion's mane mushroom to inspire such strategizing?

We have two changes to announce tonight, but nothing too major!

• There will now be two resets instead of one. The second batch of foraged mushrooms will start this Sunday, September 29th at 9:00 PM EDT. The third batch of foraged mushrooms will start on Wednesday, October 2nd at 9:00 PM EDT.
• Starting tomorrow night, any foraged mushrooms not used in your lineups, but left in your inventory will become useless.

Finally, one more small announcement: tomorrow's rollover will happen a couple of hours late for unrelated scheduling reasons.

Day 2 has now ended and the mushrooms were clearly much more rewarding this time! However, sadly not everyone stayed clear of the poisonous ones. Hopefully they make speedy recoveries.

Day 3 starts now, our final day with this first set of foraged mushrooms!

Hey everyone, there appears to be a problem with our shop system that's causing the entire site to crash as we add the new items. Unfortunately, this has now taken too long to troubleshoot and we'll have to continue in the morning. Hopefully we can get it fixed during the day tomorrow and, if so, we'll likely be combining tomorrow and Tuesday together so you won't have to rush for tomorrow's rollover. Meanwhile, Spores will continue to accumulate. Sorry for the delay!

Finally, without further ado, the second batch of Foraged Mushrooms is here! The next rollover won't happen until 9:00 PM EDT on Tuesday, October 1st, so you'll have a little extra time to start.

Also, because of the delay, everything has been pushed back by one day:

• Collectible price announcement: October 2nd
• The third and final batch of mushrooms: October 3rd
• Event end date: October 7th

Day 4, the first day of the second batch of foraged mushrooms, has ended. Many foragers have become extremely ill!

Day 5 has started! Be careful making your selections!

Meanwhile, we're aware that the forum has been running slow now and then over the last couple of days. We're still looking into it, as it will take some time to work out completely. Thanks for your patience!

Day 5 has ended, and it finally brought us back to normal loading speeds! Day 6 is starting now! In other news, the prices in Sautéed Mushrooms for the collectibles you get to keep have been updated in the shop!

Conditions are perfect for mushrooms to grow and they're taking over! Day 7 is starting with an all-new batch of foraged mushrooms. These mushrooms may look familiar, but don't let that trick you. Their identities have yet to be classified, so don't be fooled by any previously determined poisonous statuses of "similar" looking mushrooms. Good luck!

Day 7 has ended with many more sacrificial poisoning. You've all done a great job using teamwork to help identify these mushrooms! Day 8 starts now.

Day 8 has ended with many fortunate foraged mushrooms in your lineups. Unfortunately, some are still getting sick from the unfortunate ones. Day 9 starts now!

Also, I strongly recommend not waiting until the last minute to obtain all foraged mushrooms at once. Every day someone forgets to spend their spores before they're reset!

Day 10 has ended, which means foraging has now finished! With the conclusion of this new and experimental event, please let us know your thoughts about how it worked. We'll most likely bring back some version of it in the future!

Also, there is now a new raffle ticket available in the shop for your leftover Sautéed Mushroom currency. 4 winners will be selected to receive the rare Glow Shroom collectible on Friday, October 11th around 9:00 PM EDT. All mushroom collectibles will be removed from the shop sometime this weekend, so be sure to spend all of your Sautéed Mushrooms soon!

Fortunate and Unfortunate Mushrooms have now been hidden from lineups and will be removed from inventories once the event's collectibles are removed from the shop tomorrow.

With the final pieces of Mushroom Season wrapping up, we'll be starting Halloween soon! See you then!
