Mushroom Season Is Here!

I don't know where else to ask this, but with the spreadsheet for what mushrooms are poisonous or not, do I just chuck my name in there if I buy the mushroom or do I have to have someone else do it for me?

The current spreadsheet is currently non-editable, so you'll need to ask one of the people running it to put your name! We can't buy any mushrooms yet, but plenty of users have volunteered to check a mushroom for the upcoming round. (For the current set, at least. I believe there's going to be a new set.)

Maybe the old set decided to have a protest because they didn't want to leave, and the new ones joined in. Could be a madhouse going on back there. If the new set shows up, and the mod avatars are changed to booton and other shrooms from the old set, we'll know - the takeover was complete.

I could see that happening. The old set didn’t get to stay very long . They just wanted some more time. It is nice of the new set to try and help them stay.

Last night, I was saying that the mushroom that crashed the site had freezing powder. If that mushroom has a virus, I call it Snowvid-24.

I didn’t think we were going to get new shrooms to forage! I thought the poison tag was going to be reset on the existing foraged shrooms! Well, I’m still not exactly sure which it will be, but I’m excited to see what pops up nonetheless.

Last time I went all in on shrooms and posted 10 when we didn’t know anything about them, but now seeing how many were poison, unless we need more volunteers to display/test a specific shroom, I think I’m going to just display at most 5… probably more like 2 or 3

I already discarded most of my Unfortunate Mushrooms, but some people sounded like they were going to try and keep them for a lineup! I guess it can’t hurt to keep them around. If they wilt and disappear at the end of the season anyway, it will be the same result
