I'VE BEEN PLAYING FOR 6 MONTHS IM SO LATE AND LAZY

I can't get the second floor, I've donated like 40 items and I've talked to bathers more than 20 times...

Anything I'm doing wrong?

you have to donate 20 items all together, with at least 1 from each catagory. so you could have donated 17 fossils, but only 1 bug, 1 fish and 1 painting. good luck, dear!

Or maybe you're just not talking to Blathers on the right day. At some point, he's "thinking" instead of sleeping during the day. You probably just missed the days he wanted to suggest a PWP

At this beginning of this, buy paintings even in cases where villagers might sell you a fake.
