I was wondering if it was possible for someone to have multiple towns? I keep seeing other people have one town for looks and another for cycling or weeding.

Yes, it is possible! I have two towns myself, but one is complete and the other is a WIP.

The cheapest I've seen a new copy is 29.95 at Target and Wal-mart. You might beable to get it cheaper used.

You can get a used, but like new copy for 21.50 at Amazon.

Target did have them on sale for 15 in the US and 20 in Canada but that was a while ago.
I have 8 copies and the last one was 25 in Canada in the Walmart sale flyer.

Watch for fall sales. Thanksgiving usually has them on sale.

Yes. I bought two of my copies from Target when it was $ 15.00. They'll probably go on sale again real soon.

Well.. I was wondering about this myself. But anyhow, as expensive as this sounds, it's actually a surprisingly reasonable cost for such an all-consuming hobby. The poor wallets of all those doomed trading card collectors...

Walmart i the cheapest to buy it. I did a ton of research looking for the cheapest place and I got mine for $25 dollars there.

That's how I see it. New Leaf has given me entertainment for over two years.

hmm its kinda hard to maintain 2 towns in my opinion. i havent even finish my main town and ive already bought s second copy for cycling

Two towns really aren't difficult to maintain...three or more, however, yikes. I suppose it would get hard for serial TTers, though.
