Multiple Games On 1 3DS Question

Hi everyone, for anyone that has multiple versions of New Leaf, is it ok if I use multiple cartridges on one 3DS even though it'll have the same friend code? Now that New Leaf is going to be only $20 and with the awesome update coming, I'm considering getting a new game. Would playing on one 3DS screw things up? Thank you!

It should work fine. At least, when I play my sister's game on my 3ds, it works perfectly, as if they were totally separate game systems.

Yes, it will work....you can have as many cartridge copies per 3DS as you want to....I have 2 3 DS and 6 cartridge ACNLs and all works as it should.

Yes, there will be no problem, because ACNL saves to the cartridge, not to the sd card (unless you have a digital copy). Even if you have a digital copy, you still can use cartridge game on the same ds as the save for the cartridge version will be read from it and for the digital version will be read from the sd card.

I would assume that the street pass would go to whichever cartridge you have in the system at the moment.

it will go to all towns
So if you close street pass it closes on all your towns
It will only work that you don't display your house
on that cartridge

Because the streetpass it's on the 3ds not on each game

it should work just fine. before i had my 2ds, i had both my towns on one 3ds, and things worked fine for me

It works fine for me, as the others have said, it doesn't save your town data to the 3ds, it saves it to the cartridge in question. Streetpass also seems to work with whatever cartridge is in at the time when I tested it. I haven't ever put up a house for display though, so I can't speak for how that will work.
