If you have mule characters, do you ever get tired of the name you chose for them?

Because I can't decide whether or not to think up names or just call them something like "Miss", "Sir" or "Lady"...

I name them after my ancestors. Usually I give them two names, such as MaeBelle, for two of my grandmothers, or the names of children in the family who passed as infants. I don't see it as morbid. I think it is a lovely way to remember, for example, BettyAnn, (who would have been my aunt) as the creepy-looking little mayor of Maeville having fun in her Halloween-themed town. I think she would have loved it. The real mules are great for patterns and experimenting with. I mess with their house decor and clothes and sometimes make them look downright embarrassing.

You could use friends' names, too. I find that naming them after people is fun. And then imagine an image for them and dress or theme them accordingly. I'm actually getting attached to my "mules", tho.

I have one, his name is Mules (like Jules.. yeah I know )

If I can get a full town that I like (not groovin' on Keaton much) I want two more mules: Francis (kudos if you get that one) and Walken (last name Closet).

In my main town, TARDIS, they're called Rory, Amelia and River. What's a TARDIS without the Ponds? In Serenity, one is my best friend of 17 years and the next to be created is my other best friend of the last 5. Fantastic humans and it makes me happy to think of them hanging out with candy-coloured hair, talking to adorable animals. (They both play, too, so they know the addiction.)

Well my mayor is Usagi, so I named my one Ami. If I ever needed more I'd just stick with the Sailor Moon theme. But as far as creating one just to check on the campsite or something I always call them 4.

In Lilycove, I have a female mule called Jenny. I picked that name because Jenny was always one of my favorite names; I used to use that name a lot when playing Pokemon. In Solaceon, I have a male mule named Wayne, who was given that name because I was going for a farm/southern/western type thing, and I was naming him after John Wayne, LOL.

I just use the first name that pops to my head. Or first word. I once called one television.

EDIT: My current mule is called Mule. It holds my paths for me.

Since my town name is Mordor, I named my storage house character Arwen and I'll be making another one naming him Gollum (to add onto my camping area).

Such great ideas you all have! I have to say I am the most surprised by "television." LOL! That's funny!
For Whovianism, I am an oldster, so the new series is, for me, enjoyable, but I am a Classic fan forever. I'll likely soon go with the originals names as my towns grow. Probably name them Troughton, Pertwee, BillH, and maybe Katerina. Maybe even a Jamie and Zoe, Waterfield, and Ben and Polly. Tho Dodo may have to come first.

Now I am wanting to hurry up and create more mules! Thanks alot, OP... :P

I have some mules, as well.

Xylia: The goth girl of the town, who collects plushies.

Omelette: One of my OC's, brought to life in Animal Crossing.

Yoite: A meteorologist townie.

I name the first one a nice boys' name, and the second matches my town's theme.

When I was in Mordor, it was Nicolae and Arwen.
When I was in Galbadia, it was Gabriel and Rinoa.
Now in Sunleth, I have Damien and Vanille. :3

That sounds awesome! But you're giving me Pond feels!

I think that's a lovely idea. :)

That sounds cool, keeping a LotR's theme going. :)

Naming them after the different doctor's would be cool! I haven't watched much of the older episodes, but from what I've seen I think they're wonderful. Since I'm more of a newer series girl, I could go with Eccleston, Tennant and Smith maybe. :P

I named my only mule(pattern mule) Amy, after Amy Lee. I love her to death, so I will never get sick of her name :)

Well I named my mule characters "Mall", "School" and "Hotel" because that is what their houses are!
