Moving villagers out

So, I need pate out ASAP for goldie. The talking to the villager once and then traveling each day isn't working in this case . Any ideas of what I should do?

Some villagers are just extremely stubborn and refuse to move for a VERY long time. Are you COMPLETELY ignoring the villager? That's the best way to go to try and get someone to ping to move.

It comes down to preference I guess since that would require more work and more time spent.
