Moving Villager Making DIY glitch

A villager on my island is in moving-out boxes. And he's also making a DIY.

When I talk to him, all he talks about is that he's moving away. No offer of a recipe.
Not a terrible glitch, but annoying that I don't get a DIY recipe. I forced him out with an amiibo, for what that's worth. And I don't time travel, so that's not a factor.

I’ve seen this before. He’ll still move out normally, it’s just a lil glitch.

That's good to know. Wondering if it has to do with the amiibo or not. Not that it will stop me from using amiibo in the future. ^o^;>

It's really a shame that moving villagers have been so glitchy since day one.

I've adopted two villagers who were both displaying this glitch! One was kicked by an amiibo, and the other was a natural move. Both made it to my island safely and have been there for several days without anything odd happening, so while it's a small sample size, going by my experience I'd say you're good! I've also gone to visit some of my own villagers on their 'in boxes' days and found them doing the same thing, but no further error was encountered. Just hammering away on their boxes for some reason, lol.

It IS a shame though, you're right. The sheer amount of glitches we've encountered with the moving mechanics, when trading villagers is such a big part of online play, is definitely concerning.
