moving out?

how long does it take for a villager to move out if you DONT talk to them/they dont twll you personally theyre moving?

ive had 3 villagers tell me Claudia is thinking of moving, ive tried to hide away for 5min and she didnt ping me or anything.. then ii finally talked to her and she was upset bc ii hadnt talked to her.. so then ii went to the next day and she finally pinged me and said she was moving so ii said OKAY, then she tells me oh nevermind!!! like ugh, why tell me youre gonna move then!!!? haha.. so anyways.. im TT to get her out again, ii think ive travelled into another month and again someone says Claudia wants to move bht she hasnt pinged me... NO WAY am ii gonna talk to her and get her to finally ping me just so she can say NO AGAIN!! so im wondering if ii dont talk to her, how long will it take to get her out?

If she says nevermind, then turn the game off without saving and reload.

When she says she's moving and you say OK, then she says thanks, or words to that effect, then save it.

Make sure to talk to her and get the same response right up until the day before she moves, or she might stay.

People think they only need to get the moving confirmation once, but this is not the case.

Usually about 10 days with the Amiibo update. Was only 5 before it.

If you haven?t spoken to a villager for too long, they will stop pinging. If you suspect thats the case, just talk to them once. They should say something like "oh I haven?t seen you in so long!". After that they will ping you as usual.
A villager moves 10 days after they have decided to move, I would recommend letting them ping you or setting your time forward and checking with a new character if she is in boxes or already left in order to determine the day she leaves. I would do that to avoid having a new villager move in unexspectedly because you skipped too far ahead.^^
The game saves the descision of the villager to move, so if it has been decided who moves (even if no one told you), the game will count down 10 days and the villager will move out (sometimes they choose not to). Thats the reason why its reliable to check with a newly made character if someone moved and you dont need to create a house for that character and save to preserve that descision. Whatever outcome you see (no one moves, someone moves out etc.) should be predetermined (according to my experience).

ii dont usually go that long of not talking, bht ii swear she likes to hide so thats why shes always mad lol ii can never find her.. everyone else they get over it and go back to being happy, bht her shes the only one.. ive only TT 6days ahead since Doc told me she wanted to move out, and she still wont ping me so ii guess ii will talk to her and she if she will ping me later hahah thanks
