Hello!
I'm hoping this isn't a totally obvious thing to discuss, but I'm sure you have all been in the situation where a villager you have been waiting to up stick and just get out allows you the delight of seeing the little '!!' light above their head, only to change their minds once you encourage them to leave!
What is this about? Should you have asked them to stay?
Basically the question here is:
When a villager announces they are leaving by saying "X", which of the two options will get them to leave, and which to stay?
For example, I just had Pierce tell me he just couldn't have a sit down with a cup of tea and a good sigh here in my town, but when I said he should 'Enjoy the new you!' he turned tail and decided he should stay because I might give up my exercise routine without him!
I also had Flo tell me she was interested in flinging some turf in another town, but when I told her to enjoy it she thought we weren't good enough friends and decided she wasn't going to leave til we were tighter! After resetting, I told her to stay but that STILL made her stay!
Which leads me onto my second question! Are there dud sayings where neither answer will make them leave?
