Hello! So I have a villager moving out tomorrow and was considering inviting my first villager from an amiibo card if I can't find a snooty or grumpy that I like on an island. I know that moving in an amiibo villager takes 3 days, but I was wondering if somebody random could move into a plot within that time or if the spot is somewhat "reserved" by inviting the villager to my campsite? Thank you :)

(P.S., I was wondering if he will move into the place the old house plot was, or if I have to put down a new one! I don't mind as I have to move it anyway, but just wanted to know for the future. :))

So from what I've seen you have one day of breathing room. Nobody will move in/buy the plot of land the day the home disappears and the plot becomes open.

Any day after that there is a chance a random villager could move in, but you can always kick them out with your amiibo card if that were to happen.

I totally forgot you could kick them out with the card since I have not done it yet. Thank you! :)
