I'm working on collecting my dreamies but I don't want to move them to my town just yet since I haven't finished building all my houses and projects. I plan to move dreamies to my boyfriends town until I'm able to bring them to my town. I just had a question about that process. Is it as easy to move out adopted villagers as it is to move out any other villager?

Also, if I decide to just move the adopted villager to my town how long do you have to plot reset? If I adopt a villager and it takes over a day of plot resetting or I don't play the game at all for a day or so they'll still move it, right? This is probably confusing but I just don't want to risk having plot resetting take too long and the villager never moves in.

1) Yes, villagers will always ping to move out, regardless of how they were obtained.

2) How long you have to plot reset is entirely your choice, it's until you find a place you like. Yes, even if you don't put them into a plot before the day if over, they will still be trying to move in the next day (provided you don't log onto an already existing character).

Also, I hope you are aware of the 16 villager cycle. Would hate to have you try and move someone back in and then lose them.

Yes, villagers will always ping to move out, regardless of how they were obtained. However, they can move over without telling you so be careful! Also villagers sometimes will give a rumour that someone is going to move. How long you have to plot reset is entirely your choice, it's until you find a place you like. Yes, even if you don't put them into a plot before the day if over, they will still be trying to move in the next day (provided you don't log onto an already existing character).
