So, I know that when a villager moves out they appear on main street until you cycle through 16. But how long is it until they start to appear? Tia moved out a while ago, and I'll really miss her, but she hasn't appeared on main street at all. Is there a certain number of villagers that appear on main street? Or is it just time? Thanks!

It's just time, I believe. I'm not sure exactly how long it takes, at least three or four months. Possibly longer. I'm sure you will see Tia again soon. c:

If I remember right,it will take another four villagers moving out of your town before Tia appears on Main Street.
I believe it's what was said above, after 5 villagers move out the first will appear. I had my first villager move out months ago and my 5th a week ago. Once my 5th had moved out the next day I started seeing my first on Main Street...
I really didn't know it was based on move outs :O That is really interesting! and explains a lot as my first just got spotted on mainstreet the other day when Cally had moved out. I guess she was my fifth. I haven't kept count at all.
