Move out mechanics?

I finally had the villager I wanted to move out bubble today! Yay! However I had another question. It seems that villagers don’t bubble all day anymore to move out? Today the villager was just wandering around like normal in the morning while I did my chores. Then when I logged on this afternoon, she bubbled and I was quite surprised to see that it was a move out bubble. Did the move out mechanics change with the last update? If anyone knows would love the deets. I always love knowing how the game works and I haven’t seen anything datamined on this.

This would make sense why I couldn’t find a move out in the past week even when it was overdue for a move. If they don’t bubble all day, it’s harder to catch now!

They don't have the bubble when they are indoors. You can have a case where you can talk to them and then get the bubble later. This has happen to me twice now.

Im not sure either but Nan didn’t have a bubble yesterday morning or the morning before (she was outside)but she had it in the evening. Today she had it this morning. Hoping it moves to Chief tomorrow

My memory is a bit foggy since it's been a while. I don't think I ever had a villager have a moving-out though bubble first thing in the morning -- it always appeared in the afternoons for me, but that could be simply because I don't play much in the mornings on weekdays. Hope you find a new villager that you like!

It's happened to me before as well, but I thought I was remembering wrong! Glad to know it's a thing now and I'm not losing it.

Of course, I said no only because I didn't have her picture. This was AFTER I'd given her a coconut using the stack method that day and, lo and behold, I got her pic in the mail the next day. So, now I'm ready to let her go if she asks again

Oh yeah she wasn’t indoors! She was out wandering doing her thing. I wanted to get her photo but it’s been too long and I’ve decided to let her go. Man I have always had my villagers bubble all day so this is new to me! Very interesting

I've also had this the last two times- that I see and talk to them outside in the morning then they have a move out bubble in the afternoon. Took me by surprise, because before that it's always been the first time I saw a villager in the day.

Yes exactly! I really do wonder if that is a patch or if it’s always been in the game?

Even before the update, the bubble was never on the whole time. There are times throughout the day that the bubble would be off and then start up again.
